This workshop will focus on the dynamic core of the the human body within our yoga practice and life. Dynamic means of energy or physical force in motion. Human beings are in motion all the time and how we move the core of the body in relation to the limbs is important for healthy movement. Students will develop new ways to organize and understand how the core of your body functions in relation to efficient movement. Rebecca will introduce the Feldenkrais® Method combined with yoga to facilitate this process of understanding and using the dynamic core.

What is the Feldenkrais® Method?
It is an educational system aimed to improve the use of the self. Based on cutting-edge scientific theory and understanding of how our brain learns and transforms. Using gentle movement and directed attention while providing the brain with learning conditions to create new patterns. Developed by Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais(1904-1984) an engineer, physicist, inventor, martial artist and student of human development.
